It features a double-cutaway mahogany body, offering exceptional balance when played on a strap as well as easy access to the entire length of the fretboard. The mahogany neck, featuring a comfortable SlimTaper profile, is topped with a bound rosewood fingerboard adorned with acrylic dot inlays and 22 medium-jumbo frets. It also boasts Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuners for smooth, precise tuning, complete with white buttons and a mother-of-pearl Gibson logo inlay on the headstock. These tuners, combined with a Graph Tech® nut, ensure outstanding tuning stability. The strings are anchored at the other end by a simple Wraparound bridge/tailpiece—featuring two intonation adjustment screws and mounted directly to the mahogany body—a setup that enhances the legendary full tone and sustain that have made the Les Paul Special Double Cut a true icon.

The Les Paul Special Double Cut is powered by a pair of Gibson’s renowned P-90 Soapbar pickups, each hand-wired to independent volume and tone controls.
